The University Communications and Public Affairs Office shares accomplishments and stories of CSU Dominguez Hills, its faculty, staff, students, programs, and events with the campus (via Dateline Dominguez) and with the community at-large (via press releases and social media sites such as CSUDH’s Facebook page, CSUDH’s Twitter account, and Google+). Given our limited staffing, we cannot be everywhere on campus, all the time. You may hear interesting stories before we do.
This is where this form comes into play. Please fill out the boxes below to send us information about your own news or those of your colleagues, students or programs. We are particularly interested in:
► professional accomplishments, such as research, published works, presentations at conferences, appointments, honors and awards
► upcoming events and activities on campus
► community outreach
► student stories and successes
Our editorial team will review your submission and may contact you for more information. Not everything you submit will be made into a story (University Communication and Public Affairs reserves the right to make that determination), but that doesn’t mean we do not appreciate your submission. The background information you provide about the importance or value of the news item to a general audience definitely helps us in our decision-making process. Also, because we do receive a lot of requests for coverage, and also because outside media requires advanced notice, submitting information as early as possible is always best.
