HEAR NOW Music Festival Concert at CSUDH

Lyris QuartetExtending the reach of the wildly innovative music being created in Los Angeles, the HEAR NOW 2017 Music Festival of New Music by Contemporary Los Angeles Composers will perform a special encore chamber concert at California State University, Dominguez Hills on Sunday, May 7. The concert is free and will take place beginning at 7 p.m. in the University Theatre.

The concert will feature Lyris Quartet, one of the top chamber groups in the United States, and a number of other highly regarded Los Angeles-based composers and musicians.

The seventh annual HEAR NOW Festival took place over the April 28-30 weekend, and the encore concert at CSUDH is being made possible thanks to grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Arts Commission  and the City of Los Angeles’ Department of Cultural Affairs.
