California State University, Dominguez Hills, in partnership with the California State Board of Equalization Office of Chairman Jerome Horton (Class of ’79, B.S., business administration), California Educational Solutions, and the National Association of Women Business Owners-Los Angeles, will be hosting the 2014 Connecting Women to Power Business Conference in the Loker Student Union and University Theatre on Friday, June 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 pm.
Leaders from corporations and government agencies will lead seminars, workshops and discussions, providing real-world experiences on investment and business opportunities to help better position women entrepreneurs to thrive in today’s business climate. Women who own their own business or aspire to do so will have the opportunity to build key alliances and network while getting the latest information on industry trends.
The conference is free, but registration is required. Since our university is hosting the conference students, staff and faculty who wish to attend will receive priority registration.
