Middle and high school students and their families will have the opportunity to meet students, alumni, faculty and staff from each of the 23 CSU campuses and learn what the campuses have to offer in terms of majors and campus life.
By visiting information booths and attending various workshops, participants will be able to receive vital information at the college fair about admission to the CSU, the application process, necessary classes the need to complete to be eligible for entry to the CSU, and what kind of financial aid is available to them.
The workshops scheduled that day include:
- Financial aid to pay for college
- Academic readiness for college
- African American scientists and inventors
- Latino American scientists and engineers
- Emerging degree options
- Parent training and empowerment
